Fox Performance 2.0 Series 983-02-051 Front Coilover 0-2" Lift for 2003-2017 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Fox Performance 2.0 Series 983-02-051 Front Coilover 0-2" Lift for 2003-2017 Toyota FJ Cruiser
DescriptionÂ
Venture down anything rougher than a smooth dirt road, and it will become obvious that your Toyota 4Runner or FJ Cruiser needs a shock upgrade. The factory shocks simply don't have the compression or rebound control that the suspension needs in rougher terrain. At Element Hard Parts, we offer Fox's Performance Series shocks that are a significant upgrade over factory parts. The Performance Series features larger 2-inch diameter bodies that hold more fluid for fade-free performance. Those same shock bodies also house larger-diameter valving pistons for more damping force. All of Fox’s shocks, including these, are valved specifically for each application. Fox’s Performance Series shocks will transform your 4Runner or FJ Cruiser’s suspension from soft and squishy to smooth and controlled. *FOX Performance Series Shocks are sold individually*

FAQ
Q: What height do the shocks come out of the box?
A: Typically, Fox Shocks will be pre adjusted to the highest setting per application. Example if the coilover is 0-2”, our experience shows that out of the box the vehicle will net close to 2” of lift. Fine tune adjustment can be made once installed.
Q: Why does Element use 980-24-679 for the rear shock?
A: Our most common set up for the 4Runners includes the use of our rear coils that provide 2” of lift. If you are not addressing the rear with any height, we recommend using the 985-24-124 for 0-1.5” of lift.
