One of the best mods you can do to the Ford Ranger is replacing the factory shocks. Squishy and soft, the OEM shocks can't handle anything more than smooth dirt roads. They bottom out quickly, resulting in a rough ride and a slow pace. Fox's Performance Series Shocks solve this lack of performance and control. With 2-inch diameter bodies, along with compression and rebound valving specific to the Ford Ranger, the Performance Series shocks will make a significant difference in your Ranger's ability to take on tough terrain. The bigger diameter bodies hold more fluid for fade-free performance and larger pistons for more damping force. Q: What height do the shocks come out of the box?
A: Typically, Fox Shocks will be pre adjusted to the highest setting per application. Example if the coilover is 0-2”, our experience shows that out of the box the vehicle will net close to 2” of lift. Fine tune adjustment can be made once installed.
Q: Will these shocks work on a 2wd application?
A: Theses shocks are designed specific to 4wd applications.
